The phone can't find my computer

• Check that the helper is running: its icon is in the menu bar (Mac) or system tray (Windows).
• Use the same Wi‑Fi on both, or turn on Bluetooth and stay within about 10 meters.
• On iPhone, allow Local Network and Bluetooth for Couchpad in Settings.
• Office and hotel networks sometimes block devices from seeing each other. Use Bluetooth, or Add by IP: the address shows in the helper under the code, after you click Show code & QR.

The pointer or keys don't work on my Mac

Allow Couchpad in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. The helper's Setup window has a button that opens it.

It says the code doesn't match

Codes change every five minutes, and after a few wrong tries. Use the code showing in the helper right now.
